Patch 1 for Veeam Backup & Replication 6.1

It is now available Patch 1 for Veeam Backup & Replication 6.1

This patch fix some issues and add some enhancements:

  • Increased synthetic full transformation, and reverse incremental backup performance
  • Improved Direct SAN Access mode performance
  • Added PowerShell cmdlet for VeeamZIP operation.
  • Fixed issues with VMware and Hyper-V

It seems that there is an issue with this latest patch: as you can see in this discussion in the Veeam forum (http://forums.veeam.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13165) if a proxy has some disconnected NICs, after upgrading it stop working and an error “Wrong IP address ‘’ is raised. The workaround is to remove all unused NICs or to connect the to some network.
